Call-Only Ads Now Introduces You to its NEW 3 Adwords Extensions

Have you been using or tried to use the Call-Only Ads for your business? If not yet, then this is the best time for you to set it up and take advantage to its new extensions.

But first, what is a Call-Only Ads?

Call-Ony Ads allows advertisers to make people contact your business directly without landing to any page in your website. This Ad type can only appear to devices that can make phone calls.

How Does it Work?

Call-Only Ads acts just like a normal ad. But when the ad has been clicked, instead of directing you to a destination URL, it would initiate a phone call to the destination phone number that is added to the your ad. And also, you will only be charged once someone clicks your ad. It is worth mentioning, that if they click on your ad and cancel the prompt to confirm calling you, you are still charged.

When is the best time to create this Ad type?

This ad type is best for advertisers who’s aiming to encourage phone calls over website visits on mobile device. Though you can always add a call extension in a normal ad, it is still best to create a call-only ad when your primary goal is to drive phone calls.

Setting up a Call-Only Ads

When setting up a Call-Only Ad in a normal campaign, choose the Ad Group where you want to include the ad and you can just click the “+AD” red button then selecting “Call-Only Ad”. It is quite similar to setting up a normal ad, it’s just that there will be no destination URL instead Google will be asking for your business name. Aside from this, you’ll also need to add the phone number where the potential customers will be redirected and 2 website URLs. Why you need two URLs? Simply because, one URL will be used to display in your ad while the other one will be used to verify if the phone number you added to your ad is actually in your website.

*Important Note: Call-only ads are only available for campaigns on the Search Network.
